Welcome to the revolution, the Smart Business Revolution Podcast where we ask today’s most successful entrepreneurs to share the tools and strategies they use to build relationships and connections to grow their revenue. Now, your host for the revolution, John Corcoran.

John Corcoran 0:40
All right. Welcome, everyone. John Corcoran here. I am the host of this show. You guys know my story. I’m a recovering political hack turned real podcast expert. Spent years working in law, speech, reading politics, you name it. In 2010, I discovered this medium of podcasting. I’ve been doing it ever since. And I’m talking to an expert in it. So you’re gonna love this conversation. Over 10 years of hosting this show, I’ve had the privilege of talking to so many great CEOs, founders, and entrepreneurs of all kinds of companies ranging from YPO to this individual who is an EO member. He’s an active President of his local chapter. So we’re going to talk all about that in a second. My guest, his name is Chris Krimitsos. So there we go. I think I got it. He has been called a change maker, motivator, catalyst for change and inspiration. Whether it’s a major corporation’s CEO or solopreneur, Chris is passionate about being a difference maker. He has facilitated over 2000 going on 3000 events and brought together business owners focused on economic growth under the umbrella of the Tampa Bay Business Owners, which he founded in 2008. And that led to founding a national event, Podfest Multimedia Expo, which he runs to this day, which he’s grown to about 1000 attendees in just five years. And he even set a Guinness World Record for a recent virtual event he did, which we’ll talk about in a second. And Chris, it’s such a pleasure to have you here.

Of course, this episode is brought to you by Rise25 Media. At Rise25 we help b2b businesses get clients, referrals and strategic partnerships with done for you podcasts and content marketing. And if you want to learn more, you can go to rise25media.com or email us at [email protected]. Now, Chris, you’ve done so many live events over the years. 1000s, literally 1000s. But you have a completely different approach from many event organizers. And I’ve been one of those event organizers. I wouldn’t say I was the best at it. But we did. We have done a lot of events. But you take a different approach. It’s called the holacratic approach, Tony Hsieh of Zappos, may he rest in peace, is famous for using this approach at Zappos. Explain to us what that is.
