How to Create Your Personal Networking Plan — for Lawyers

Free live training webinar Thursday 7/11 at 12noon PST

Lawyers need to master many skills. But there’s one skill that makes the difference between a lawyer who makes a living and a lawyer who makes a fortune. What’s that one skill? Networking.

To be a truly successful lawyer, you need to master your craft, but you also need to be incredibly good at cultivating and developing relationships through savvy networking.

Lawyers who are good networkers bring in clients and revenue, make partner, and build their own successful practices.

I know first-hand the importance of networking. I got my dream job at 23 – as a Writer in the Clinton White House – through focused networking. (I didn’t go to an Ivy League school.)

Two years ago, I started my own small solo practice and again, I used networking techniques to bring in over six figures of revenue per year right off the bat. Even though I had only been practicing a few years.

In this hands-on training webinar, I will show you:

  • the exact steps to create your own personal networking system (you’ll do it on the webinar)
  • how to develop relationships with your ideal clients
  • how to create a system for following up and deepening relationships with people that matter
  • the exact system I use for making networking fun, rewarding and profitable – for all sides.
  • how to spend 15 minutes/day using social media – so that it is effective

JV Crum III, Conscious Millionaire,, entrepreneurJohn Corcoran really knows his stuff when it comes to networking. You don’t get a job at the White House at age 23 unless you really know how to connect with people. His advice on how to broaden your network is worth its weight in gold. — JV Crum III, attorney/entrepreneur, author of Conscious Millionaire, CEO of

Dave TateI found it useful that your webinar was “positive” in nature, almost like a coaching session.  Not in the sense of an inspirational pep talk, but by providing useful ideas and the start of or confirming an outline, system or approach for networking and marketing.  I have put in a fair amount of time attempting to network and working on better ways to do it, but I am not really personally connected with most of my connections or with many people who will reciprocate. I have been working on my conversations, organizations and events spreadsheets.  This will take a while, but it is well worth it and badly needed for me. — Dave Tate, Esq.
