News flash, everyone: relationship-building has changed.
If you want to grow your network, it’s not as simple as going down to your local chamber of chamber of commerce meetings and chatting up other business owners.
We live in an interconnected world.
We live in our email and on social media.
We use tools like Facebook and LinkedIn and text messaging and Whatsapp. (I don’t even know what that is.)
These tools influence our network and the relationships we build.
So today I want to highlight a tool I’ve been using more lately – online courses.
In this episode, I brought back on the podcast for the second time my friend Danny Iny, the creator of Firepole Marketing. Danny argues that creating an online course is actually one of the best ways of increasing your impact, income and relationships.
I’ve developed a few online courses now and I have to agree. Your course can touch more 10X lives than providing a one-to-one service or consulting. You can also build tighter relationships with a larger group people who take your courses than you ever could one-to-one.
So in this episode Danny talks about why you should consider creating a course, even if you have no list or no following online, how you can do it, and some of the pitfalls to avoid.
Now, Danny does have a new course on online course creation called Course Builders Lab but this interview is 100% content – he’s not trying to sell the course in this interview. He actually gives some really valuable advice, whether you sign up for this or not.
Last point: stick around until the end of the podcast because I’m going to mention a very special offer I have for you – you won’t want to miss it.
